Service Star Associate Managing Partner: John Fahey

Find him at: our UT location

“I never knew what ‘selfless’ meant before I met John. Every day on this earth, John makes a contribution to the collective conscience of humanity; he is the zeitgeist. His messages are that of empathy and the promise of reward for hard work. If I were trapped on a remote island and my only companion were the illustrious John Fahy, I wouldn’t, not for a fleeting moment, encounter fear or trepidation in the face of survival. Thanks to John, I approach every day, inspired by his example, stress free, with the knowledge that no matter what happens, John will have my back.” –Alexander Hood

“John Fahy has the work ethic we all strive for. From the second he walks in until the the time he leaves, he never stops working. And while he’s here he is helping everyone to the best of his ability. Three cheers for John!” –Brigette Wratislaw

“John Fahy is the most selfless, encouraging, truly ‘for the team’ manager I have ever worked with. Any time you need him, he is there. Today he took my favor orders and bussed some of my tables. He is truly a team player and cool dude!” – Cat Swantner

How long have you worked at Kerbey Lane Cafe?

It will be 4 years in July.

What is your favorite thing about working at Kerbey Lane Cafe?

The people I work with, the fast pace, and the challenge that comes with working in a place as high volume as Kerbey Lane.

If your last meal were at Kerbey Lane Cafe, what would you order?

Meatloaf tacos. I wrap the meatloaf in corn tortillas and top it with red bell pepper sauce and queso.

I recently became a father for the second time, and my daughter was born with some health issues. All my coworkers reached out during that difficult time to offer their support, and that meant a lot to me.
