Our Kerbey Lane team begrudgingly taste-tested this dish until we were sure the combination of melty Asadero and mozzarella cheeses was paired with just the right amount of homemade green chili pumpkin pesto. Then, we grilled it all to perfection on the Panini press between two pieces of Italian Rustic bread. This sandwich comes alongside a creamy tomato fennel soup, topped with roasted pumpkin seeds. If you’re a fan of traditional a traditional grilled cheese and tomato soup combo, this gourmet take on a classic comfort food will be a cool-weather favorite!
Lone Star Reuben
Our Texas twist on the traditional Reuben includes corned beef, Swiss cheese, thin sliced corned beef and sour kraut served on marble rye from The New World Bakery. What makes this sandwich unique (and super-tasty) is Kerbey’s addition of homemade creole mustard & jalapeno remoulade.
Grilled Guajillo Chicken Tacos
These tasty tacos are packed full of flavor! We marinate and grill chicken breast in our homemade Guajillo pepper sauce before adding it to a soft tortilla also filled with avocado, pineapple mango pico, queso fresco, cilantro and lettuce.
Our Director of Foods, Carl Leefe (more famously known for Kerbey Secret Menu Item Carl’s Breakfast) is the mastermind behind this southern classic meal. Carl’s Jambalaya features all-natural chicken breast and Pederson’s jalapeno sausage blended with Cajun spices to create a perfectly hearty and delicious dish to warm you up during dreary fall and winter days!
